We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst of Transportation at Nike. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Senior Analyst of Transportation, you will be responsible for analyzing transportation data, developing strategies, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include data analysis using advanced analytics tools, strategy development aligned with business objectives, performance monitoring through establishing metrics and KPIs, carrier management and relationship evaluation, and cost optimization through identifying savings opportunities. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop integrated transportation plans that align with overall supply chain objectives.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Demand Planning, Distribution, Warehousing, and Inventory Management teams, to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of transportation activities. You will collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers to manage relationships and drive continuous improvement in service quality. WHAT YOU BRING
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (an advanced degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in transportation analysis, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, SAP, Tableau, and data visualization software. Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, apply statistical analysis techniques, and derive insights to support decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully leading transportation optimization initiatives, driving process improvements, and achieving cost savings.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
