This position may be filled as an Analyst (PPA) II, III or Sr., depending on the qualifications and or the experience of the candidate.

The preferred location for this position to be filled is Little Rock, AR however other locations within Entergy’s footprint will be considered.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting the governance of the department’s data management system, leveraging data sources from other systems, including developing and analyzing reports using business and statistical tools.

Job Responsibilities

+ Design and maintain end-user and executive facing reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Management Studio. Write and run SQL queries to join tables and retrieve data.

+ Understand database functionality and support data collection and reporting governance.

+ Investigate, identify, and implement solutions to improve data integrity issues.

+ Assist with business questions that can be answered by utilizing data.

+ Utilize data governance techniques to document, define, and map out data sources.

+ Support the development and reporting of key metrics that provide leadership with focused insights in the performance of their individual business units.

+ Must be adept to learning multiple data sources to provide insightful analysis and reporting.

Minimum Requirements – Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience will be accepted.

Desired: Master’s Degree

Minimum Requirements – Experience

Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience

Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience

Analyst SR: 6+ years of professional experience

Minimum Requirements – Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

+ Analytical skill set with proficiency in data analytics and complex reporting using a diverse set of tools.

+ Effectively develop and present results and recommendations to all levels in the organization.

+ Possess strong analytical skills and decision-making ability.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and operate in a rapidly changing work environment.

+ Proficient in Excel, Access, and Power BI (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SQL, creating and linking data sources)

Desired Qualifications:

+ Experience building and maintaining a SharePoint site.

+ Understand foundational data concepts (e.g., data types, file types, data transformation) and applications such as spreadsheets, databases, or geographic information systems.

+ Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, DAX.
