+ All Of The Tools – we know you’re an expert in Excel, Access and SAP, don’t be afraid to fully utilize them through a strategic lens.
+ Collaboration Is Key – get ready for communication and collaboration to be turned up as you will be working very closely with transportation, distribution and planning.
+ Weekly Reporting and Performance – OTIF/ SQEP will become part of your daily vocabulary (On Time In Full, Supplier Quality Excellence Program) as you work to vet for the root cause of the performance. You’ll be working closely with 3PL, Walmart’s Backhaul team to help improve performance and identify efficiencies.
+ Scorecard Expert – Weekly and monthly score carding is your thing as it’s relative to logistics performance, improving productivity, and making sure we are providing customer service to the fullest.
+ Sam’s Club Replenishment Contact – Since many interactions with Sam’s centers around OTIF related items, then this portion will dovetail into this role.YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
+ High School Diploma/GED and significant related work experience in logistics or customer supply chain
+ Proven ability to demonstrate strong problem solving, continuous improvement, data analysis, negotiating, decision making skills, working cross functionally, as well as communicating root cause with solutions / next steps
+ End to End supply chain knowledge including understanding forecasting, warehousing/ distribution, and transportation carriers
+ Ability to work under pressure with a high-volume workload.
+ Proficiency working in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
