Overview:

Under the direction of the clinical manager, performs tasks and activities related to patient care to an assigned group of patients. Provide care for patients in accordance with age specific needs; provide care in accordance with any identifiable cultural diversity needs (such as religions, lifestyles, beliefs, physical capabilities, and cultures); provide care for patients by assuring effective pain interventions as allowed by their work certification; report and assist any patient that presents with evidence of abuse and/or neglect; and supports the mission of SEMMC. Coworkers are expected to abide by St. Edward Mercy Medical Center safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and co-workers.

Qualifications:
QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.Licensure: Current certification by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care for nurse's aide training required. Experience: Certifications: Other: Preferred Education: Preferred Licensure: CNA will be obtained within 6 months of hire Preferred Experience: Patient care experience preferred.Preferred Certifications: Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care for CNAPreferred Other:
