Job Description
Description:
+ The lab tech will work in a GMP food manufacturing environment where they will be responsible for:
+ Testing materials used as ingredients in yeast products for such qualities as purity, stability, viscosity, density, absorption, brix, and melting or flash point.
+ Testing solutions used in processes for chemical concentration, specific gravity, pH, brix or other characteristics.
+ Testing materials for presence and content of elements or substances such as hydrocarbons, manganese, sulfur, cyanide, ash, dust, or impurities.
+ Testing samples of manufactured yeast products to verify conformity to specifications.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ BS in Biology or Chemistry OR an AAS in Biology or Chemistry
+ 6 months to 1 year of recent relevant experience
