YOUR JOB AS AN HOUSEKEEPER:
Our Janitor is an integral part of our team. This position participates in our patient’s healing by maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our patients.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS:
We have daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Shift hours are Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JANITOR:
+ Clean common areas within patient units including hallways, group rooms, day rooms, nurse stations, galleys, restrooms.
+ Clean assigned areas not in patient units including offices, lobby, meeting rooms, breakrooms, gymnasium, hallways, restrooms.
+ Clean class rooms and teacher’s office.
+ Cleaning duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, removal of trash, cleaning air vents, cleaning furniture, cleaning walls & windows, etc.
+ Replenish supplies in restrooms as needed.
+ Assist in restocking cleaning supplies.
+ Fill out checklist and document cleaning on a daily basis.
+ Notify management of occurring deficiencies, contraband, or needs for repairs.
+ Follow all health and safety regulations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
+ Ability to perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the facility
+ Previous experience and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
+ Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Must be detail oriented with an ability to stay focused on tasks
