Job Description
Actalent is seeking a Controls Engineer for a client of ours outside of Memphis, TN.
Previous auto experience is a plus, not required.Description:
Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment. • Experience in PLC and HMI programming • Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives. • Experience in Fanuc robots setup and programming. • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process. • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (heavily focused on Excel and PowerPoint) Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority and implements objectives for ergonomics, health/safety and housekeeping • Maintains good working relationships with peers, hourly employees, management, supplier community and interfaces with necessary support functions outside of the plantAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience. Automotive experience highly desirable.
