Visiting Angels is now hiring a Human Resources Coordinator

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who has solid experience and formal training in recruitment. Job Duties:

+ Identify the hiring needs and recruit quality caregivers

+ Good interviewing and listening skills (must be well trained)

+ With solid skills to hire the right candidates to fill the job

+ With a sense of urgency to reply to candidates and put them to work

+ Possess positive attitude and convincing ability to talk with the candidates

+ Maintain records of personnel-related data (personal information, leave records, background checks, etc.) to ensure all regulation and requirements are met

+ With good ability to keep the personal files updated to meet the requirements,

+ Conduct orientation, create new employee files, administering employee handbooks and all necessary paperwork is properly filled

+ Assist to process performance review management

+ Answering employee requests and questions

+ Assist with retention strategies

+ Assist in establishing policies and procedures

+ Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly reports

Job Requirement:

+ Proven experience working in recruitment in human resources department

+ Good and solid interview skills and understand how to follow the question to candidates’ answers and to dig deeper for facts.

+ Extended experience with HR databases and HR systems

+ Proficiency in using excel is a MUST and good typing speed at least with 50 wpm

+ Detailed minded is a MUST (if absent minded please do not apply for this job because human resources administration must be accurate and detailed)

+ Good knowledge of HR processes

+ With good knowledge in human resources laws and regulations

+ Strong ability in using MS Office (MS words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

+ Experience with social media recruiting (i.e. Facebook, Google)

+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to handle personnel data with confidentiality

+ Working knowledge of new hire processes such as criminal background checks, drug test and employment verification, etc.

+ Skillful interview technique

+ Good at planning, organizing, executing, monitoring and meeting deadlines

+ Good communication skills with all level staff

+ Well organized and know how to prioritize your work to meet deadlines

+ Ensure employees are in compliance with all licensing, certification, continuing education, background testing, drug and TB testing, etc. as may be required under federal, state or local law

+ Results-oriented, proactively measures outcomes

+ Minimum of associate degree in human resources or business Administration is preferred

+ At least 2 years’ experience in human resources department is a must

Schedule:

+ 8 hour shift , Monday to Friday
