Job Summary/Purpose
The Manager Strategy/PMO will be responsible for operationalizing effective and efficient business practices across the Meter to Cash and Contact Center organizations. This will include such practices as operating reviews, data driven problem solving, visualization and standardizing processes. This role will utilize operational data insights to facilitate key problem-solving sessions to drive teams to determine root cause and help to establish actions plans to close gaps. They will be supporting the organizations in developing strategies and visions to execute across an end-to-end process to stay connected on root cause and key outcomes. This role will provide visibility into the key milestones to achieve overall objectives to ensure timely execution and delivery. This role will develop visual management that the leadership team will utilize to understand priority and status of key objectives. They will work across the leadership teams to support making the strategies, objectives, and status visible internally and externally to the organization. They will utilize the data analytics outputs to ensure closure of root cause and sustainability.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
+ Develop a team of professionals that will support the leaders across the Customer Strategy and Operations teams in operationalizing effective and efficient tools to achieve and communicate around key objectives
+ Utilize data insights to drive root cause problem solving within the operating teams to drive sustainable results
+ Support the organization in development of effective and efficient operating cadences where operational barriers and status can be shared
+ Develop a tracking tool for ease of monitoring key milestones
+ Create an action planning tool to provide visibility into timely execution and barriers to execution
+ Develop performance transparency through key dashboards or other visual mediums to share status
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Industrial Engineering or equivalent related degree from an accredited college or university.
+ Master’s Degree desired.
Minimum experience required of the position
+ 10+ years’ professional experience.
+ 5+ years’ experience in industrial engineering or operational roles or related fields.
+ Formal or informal leadership experiences that demonstrate an ability to leverage knowledge, skills and abilities.
+ 5+ years’ experience with regulated electric or gas utilities preferred.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
+ Requires broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories and practices.
+ Demonstrated facilitation skills
+ Deep knowledge and demonstrated use of Project Management tools
+ Deep knowledge and demonstrated use of LEAN operating tools
+ Ability to understand at a detailed level but summarize for executive consumption through visual mediums (PowerPoint, dashboards, etc.)
+ Strong ability to apply broad industry awareness to drive financial and operational performance
+ Demonstrated exceptional leadership ability.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills; team player.
