Description:
This is Terumo’s main distribution center for North America. This facility distributes medical device implants that doctors will utilize in surgery. (SUPER IMPORTANT WORK). The forklift driver will be responsible for picking orders and prepping them to be shift. Candidates can expect to spend 50% of their time of the forklift. The other 50% of the time they could be breaking down boxes or doing different house keeping things. (Everyone in the building is a forklift operator). The facility is huge so should expect alot of walking.
Shift: Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6:30pm (Because orders are used for surgery they must go out on time. This may cause overtime. Candidate should expect to stay until 8:30pm) They can expect to work 2 Saturdays a month . Candidates can expect to hear about overtime 2-3 days in advance) Everyday will start with a morning meeting at 10am. The earliest they can clock in is 9:55am
45 minute Lunch ( Only 30 minutes will come out of time)
15 Minute paid break
Why? Increase in orders
What? They will have to work alot of overtime to ensure orders still get out
