What You Will Learn:
As an Engineering Co-op in L'Oreal Operations, you will have the opportunity to play an active part in L'Oreal's fast paced and exciting production world, day in, and day out as you steer your own project and deliverables across a 12-month period (20-30hrs/week).
Aid with automated packaging and facilities upgrades including data collection and analysis, recordkeeping, project management assistance, obsolete equipment replacement and evaluation, & energy reduction ideas.
Building Management System (BMS) integration and controls upgrades to utilities such as steam, water and compressed air systems, and area inspections, etc.
Updating documentation, collecting, and analyzing automated equipment data
Converting programs to electronic solution
Researching potential alternative automation or facilities solutions to improve reliability and help L'Oreal meet their environmental goals
What We Are Looking For:
Junior or senior year of Undergrad or Second Year Master's Degree with at least a 3.25 GPA
Majors: Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging or Industrial Engineering.
Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing, permanent basis without sponsorship.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PLC's and controls/automation
Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills and an understanding of simplification/improvement methodologies.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
Ability to communicate scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrate 100% responsibility with regard to actions and reactions.
Results oriented.
