Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Department of Information Systems, Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applicants to apply for a non-tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor focused on Healthcare Business Analytics to begin in Spring, Summer of Fall 2023. In addition to a specialty in Healthcare Business Analytics, the ability and expertise to teach in at least one of the following areas is preferred: business analytics, application development, database/data warehouse, systems analysis and design, blockchain, cybersecurity, and/or enterprise resource planning. A Teaching Professor in this position is expected to teach six to eight courses per year with a mix of face-to-face and online courses, as needed, normally with no more than two course preparations per semester. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience; benefits are competitive.

The Information Systems Department has 13 tenured or tenure-track faculty positions, including 5 positions with endowed chairs or professorship, in addition to 6 teaching faculty members, and 4 full-time instructors. The department consistently ranks in the top-10 among business schools for publications in Information Systems Research and MIS Quarterly.
