Job Description
Practice Management Lead Engineer
Applied Materials APG (factory solution software group) seeks to hire a Practice Management Lead Engineer to drive our Factory Productivity visualization and analytics capabilities and deployments to customers. This engineering position will interface with both external customers and internal engineering teams to ensure APF product capabilities are both deployed and designed to align to BKMs for meeting customer productivity goals. A successful candidate will have experience of deploying factory productivity and planning solutions (APF or similar technology). This employee will play a role for guiding engineering solutions for visualization and advanced analytics. They will interact with engineering, product management, regional pre-sales, deployment, and support teams for architecting and deploying solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Marketing/Pre Sales activities
+ Support/aid pre-sales activities
+ Help with demonstrations and support preparation of demos
+ Maintain OOB golden models/report examples for demos and scalability testing
+ Deployment Solution/Process architecture
+ Mapping to customer business process (BPs)
+ Design future state BPs with customer
+ Ensure solution has an integrated architecture aligned to key BPs
+ Manage customer expectations and help customer align to BKMs seen in the industry
+ Break through edge-cases to ensure solutions deployment meets schedule and cost targets
+ Technical Product/Process Improvement
+ Drive gap closure in UI/UX/Workflow/System
+ POC design and final user stories for engineering
+ Overall solution integration roadmap (what talks to what and why)
+ Maintain BKM model integration designs aligned to business need use-cases (typically blend of the following)
+ Inventory management model
+ Cost reduction goals
+ Network logistics challenges
+ Staffing challenges
+ Capital constraints
+ OTD restrictions
+ Cycle time forecasting
+ Can I do this?/What can I do?
Requirements/Skills
+ Experience using factory productivity software (such as AutoSched, AutoMod, APF RTD platform or competitor/home-grown solutions) to drive KPI improvements
+ Understanding of AI/ML/Data Science technologies
+ Understanding of advanced visualization capabilities
+ Understanding of software development principles
+ Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing logistics and data flow.
+ Experience presenting and leading discussions.
+ Able to work in cross-functional teams
+ Strong communication skills
+ International and domestic travel required

U.S. Salary Range:
$144,000.00 – $198,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
