The candidate in this role will work in a best-in-class Application Programming Interface (API) engineering team who serves across Humana – s Enterprise. You will be joining a great team and get to see a broad range of business partners and impact a positive member experience.
Responsibilities
This role is for a developer working on a team that builds best practice APIs for the Enterprise. This person will be a lead on the team and will have the opportunity to lead offshore team.
The Senior Cloud Services Engineer utilizes software that manages and monitors networks, systems and applications not only to guarantee performance to cloud software environments but also to better orchestrate and automate provisioning of resources. Begins to influence department – s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5 or more years of technical experience
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
+ MongoDB and cloud experience required; NodeJS required; DevOps experience
+ Experience with API Management Platform APIGEE and/or API Connect
Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
