Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a PC Technician, you will be responsible for trouble shooting intermediate level hardware and software.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Install, upgrade and repair desktop systems
+ Add user workstations to the network and user applications to workstations
+ Troubleshoot client issues and monitor help desk queue
+ Maintain all support of POS, printers, hardware, and assorted peripherals and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
+ Perform intermediate level hardware/software trouble shooting
+ Ensure the computer room is kept clean and orderly
+ Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
+ Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
+ Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
+ Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Two (2) years of personal computer repair and installations
