Job Description
We are seeking a CDL Equipment Operator for assignment in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The selected candidate will operate equipment such as: 18-wheel tractor trailer rigs, loaders, backhoes, spreaders, soil injectors, farm machinery, pumping equipment, sewer rodders, hydro-jet cleaners, TV monitoring and line grouting equipment on an assigned shift.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 5:00am – 4:30pm
- This position requires a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License and Medical Card **
- Loads, unloads, hauls, and applies sewage sludge and, if applicable, scum, grit, and screenings to agricultural lands and landfills
- Loads, unloads, hauls and spreads sand, gravel and dirt
- Digs and refills ditches and trenches
- Inspects, cleans and performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance, servicing, and care of equipment, vehicles, tools, pumps and other mobile and stationary equipment
- Inspects, repairs, seals and maintains free flowing conditions in sewer lines, drains, ditches and culverts
- Adjusts manholes; lays sewer lines to upgrade; patches streets and sidewalks; erects and repairs fences
- Maintains records and log of work activities
- Uses materials, supplies, and hand or power tools
- Works safely and adheres to established safety procedures; familiar with confined space entry, traffic safety and control
- Performs other duties as required
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card
- 2+ years experience in the operation and preventive maintenance of vehicles
