Summary:

The Customer Sales Executive (CSE) is responsible for profitably growing Walmart, Sam's Club and Hershey's Salty Snacks business to achieve objectives and plans, including net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin.
Responsibilities include business planning & analysis, creating valued business partnerships with key contacts at Walmart, Sam's Club and within Hershey, and achieving mutually beneficial agreements through skilled negotiation and understanding of the customer's business. The CSE will leverage insights to build out annual business plans and deploy supporting tactics to achieve financial objectives. The CSE will also be highly involved in several centralized selling tools and activities across the WMT Inc. team, including AFS, PlanEx leadership in the future, 1WS submissions, and period program materials.
This role reports into the Sr. Director of Salty Snacks - Walmart & Sam's Club.

Responsibilities:

Achieve net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin targets for Walmart & Sam's Club by simulating and planning incremental volume, pre and post analysis, and displaying core competencies and behaviors. This includes judiciously managing and allocating trade funds (maintaining compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley policies) to achieve profitable sales growth.
Effectively utilize Hershey's and customers analytical tools (e.g. AFS, PlanEx (future), IRI, retailer systems, Retail Link, Atlas, etc.) and processes to drive profitable and predictable sales results
Build and maintain appropriate sales plans in AFS & eventually PlanEx
Create annual merchandising plans, managing trade fund budget including clearing deductions, and processing invoices and post-audits
Monitor and control customer expenses to include waste and supply chain costs
Achieve appropriate levels of account penetration
Work collaboratively across all team members to include: Walmart & Sam's Club Sr. Director, Category Management, Sales Planning, Supply Chain, Omni, Finance and other cross functional partners

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
At least 6-8 years relevant sales experience
Prior Walmart Inc. experience is preferred
Travel:
10% to 25% travel required
