Job Description

Education: Minimum of Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition or related degree. Registered through the American Dietetic Association after completion of an internship or other approved program. Training and Experience: Must have good communication skills. Some computer knowledge necessary. Five (5) years previous experience in hospital food service management required with at least one (1) year prior clinical dietetics experience. Job Knowledge: Should be knowledgeable about rules and regulations pertaining to food service establishments and applicable JCAHO regulations. Ability to use the quality improvement techniques as outlined in the JCAHO regulations. Maintain good physical and emotional well-being. Provides leadership in meeting department standards, initiates to supervisor continuous quality improvement objectives, assures the proper use of resources and meets customer expectations.
