The PM Technician is Responsible for industrial electrical system preventive maintenance, requiring an understanding of industrial electrical systems including contactors, switches, safety devices, system wiring, electrical connections and connectors. A high level of motivation and desire to learn is a plus.



+ Accountable for personal adherence to all applicable Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Plant Policies.

+ Performs electrical PM’s per the process equipment schedule.

+ Provides baseline data information for process monitoring equipment (Ex. Thermocouples, transducers and motors) of the processing equipment.

+ Ensures equipment back-ups for PLC’s,.

+ Industrial electrical distribution experience.

+ Capable of learning vision inspection systems for high speed manufacturing processes

+ Provide electrical/mechanical installation support and technical expertise during new project launches

+ Any other duties as may be assigned.



+ Conducts required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start-up

+ Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness and professionalism of your attitude.

+ Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting.

+ Maintain a work environment which will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMP compliance.

+ Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detail in the performance of your work..

+ Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance.

+ Responsible for two near miss reports and work place observations per month.


+ Strong organizational skills and communication skills


+ Journeyman electrician or

+ 5+ years experience in industry working with various electrical control systems.


Food Safety and GMP manufacturing environment.

Regularly required to walk, lift and carry materials <35 pounds through plant in order to function in the job.
