Background & Purpose of the Job
The Walmart Automation and Analytics Manager primary responsibility is to c ontribute to the achievement of the category strategy objectives by providing capability development and discovery, Category / Space Management support and in-depth analysis for the category advisor team. Capabilities Development+ P articipate and provide technical leadership and voice of the customer in all phases of a project from discovery and planning t o implementation and delivery to enable joint value creation for Unilever and the customer
+ L everage new data sources, gather insights, and build custom models to solve business problems that establish Unilever as a lead source for all category development needs.
+ L ead development and enhancement of modular tools to increase efficiency and accuracy of the modular process. ( modular automation software, clustering, assortment tools, etc.)
+ Responsible for creating category report ing for respective category and for distribution to category teams.
Data+ Ability to manage and manipulate vast data sets and utilize tools and capabilities to identify insights for driving business at Walmart.
+ Understands how to combine data from disparate source appropriately and then how to manage the maintenance of the data on an ongoing basis
+ Knows how to blend data and query the information to discover patterns and anomalies for insight development.
+ Responsible for preparing customer presentations using Retail Link, ACNielsen, and Unilever consumer / shopper insights
+ Responsible for synthesis and distillation of insights into actionable recommendations.
Store of the Community Analysis+ Responsible for preparing and presenting consumer / shopper insights with recommendations to Walmart Merchandising.
+ Responsible for conducting consumer and shopper insights analyses to identify Store of the Community opportunities that lead to appropriately clustered modulars.
+ Responsible for helping plan and execute modular line reviews with Walmart buyer

What You’ll Need to Succeed:+ Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred ?
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience Category Management, Insights, or Sales Strategy ?
+ CPG experience required; Walmart experience strongly preferred
+ Experience strategically penetrating, persuading, and influencing internal and external touchpoints through clear, cogent, and concise communication? ?
+ E xperience in driving business value through data by querying and blending structured and unstructured data ?
+ Strong understanding of category management principles shopper insights, corporate strategy, and retailer strategy, operations, and planning ?
+ Expertise in JDA , modular development and assortment theory and application
Additional skill set requirements:+ Communication – talented in communicating across all levels of the organization and adept at presenting methodologies and science used in project work
+ Problem Solving – demonstrates keen ability to identify gaps in current tools or ways of working and creates solutions that will correct this. Refines and streamlines current methods to produce and action more accurate and reliable solutions in a timely manner.
+ Negotiation/Influencing skills – influence the buyer in areas of assortment, product placement, and inventory allocation
+ Project management skills – enhanced skills in managing process with the advisor team and the customer

Pay: The pay range for this position is $96,000 to $143,900. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
