Job Description:

• Creates, implements and maintains new schedules and puts them in the computer for the authorized period and ensures that all schedules are sent as appropriate to Homemakers. A plan of care should be attached. Track In-Home Visits in the computer using HCHB.• Cover clients for homemakers that have called in or are on vacation. Make sure that the schedules are changed beforehand for telephony and billing to work correctly.• Find coverage for new clients, clients that homemakers have quit, or for clients that no longer want the same homemaker.• Schedule all new clients to be seen within appropriate time frame as set by Division of Aging, with the appropriate worker.• Assigns and places new workers with their initial clients and sets up their schedule in the computer.• Ensure homemakers have a copy of the plan of care for each client as well as changes.• Responsible for covering all daily called in schedule changes and immediately key the changes.• Report changes in client’s hours to homemakers and mail out a plan of care to the client’s home.• Take complaints and deal with them accordingly.• Listen to clients, client’s family, and homemakers needs and make sure that all are met on a satisfactory level.• Must answer the phone, check voicemails, and return calls promptly.• Approve and coordinate homemakers leave time.• Track hours/names of employees who phone in for more hours or are needing more hours. Tracks absenteeism• Update attendance calendar on each homemaker. Turn in attendance calendar to Human Resource along with the last 2 weeks of schedule for homemakers who have quit or employees has been terminated.• Track homemakers who are a no call/no show and report to IH Scheduling Supervisor.• Track and keep list of client’s doctor visits and hospital stays, ensures DA-5’s are completed.• Review DA5’s, complaints, changes requests, occurrences and process accordingly.• Schedule OJT for new employees and make sure that all the information and their schedule is sent to Dexter classroom before the end of day 2 classroom.• Complete schedules by the end of the each month on time for telephony and billing to work smoothly (needs to be completed at least one week before the end of the month).• Must be able to accept and deal with change without getting upset. In this position things change quickly.• Supervise monitors and homemakers
