This position is open and can be domiciled at any FXF location.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for the development and execution of the business architecture process evaluating business needs in the context of current state assessments, actionable capabilities of the organization, level of change effort, sequencing of change and future state objectives that deliver on FedEx Freight corporate strategies.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leads collaboration efforts with business and IT architecture stakeholders to apply architectural and LEAN principles creating Value Stream goals and actionable roadmaps for business initiatives within the FedEx Freight portfolio
2. Combine working knowledge of functional specific business strategy and technical solution impact knowledge to deconstruct complex concepts into and sequencing them in to smaller, simplified components
3. Articulate and communicate the connection between the identified business needs and the developed capabilities of the Value Stream roadmaps presenting the impact and influence of broader industry and technology trends on the FedEx Freight strategic business objectives
4. Actively work with the FedEx Freight business owners and architects to synchronize value stream execution with the strategic roadmap
5. Contribute to the continued growth in understanding and knowledge of business architectural practices, processes and tools throughout FedEx Freight
6. Act as liaison with the Sr. Leadership and business owners to share information and report progress
7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
8. Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, IT systems or a related discipline that analyzes complex themes
* Five (5) years' relevant strategic and technical experience on large organization-wide projects of which three (3) years consist of building business capability road maps, deconstruction of complex sequencing and major impact to the projects
* Strong strategic thinking, including abstract reasoning and critical thinking skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
* Strong leadership skills
* Demonstrated ability to create, prepare and present technical project maps
* Experience effectively leading project teams, providing direction, guidance and mentorship
* Certification in Business Architecture preferred
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships throughout the organization
* Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual)

* Must be able to travel as needed
