Job Purpose:A Maintenance Tech is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and installation of complex mechanical equipment and electrical distribution systems with minimal supervision. Additional responsibilities include PLC programming, troubleshooting and other general maintenance duties assigned. This is a qualified safety sensitive position which will require you to operate motorized vehicles and work at elevated heights.
+ Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs as well as train others in machine repairs.
+ Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
+ Set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment-using specialty tools-and make decisions on most effective repair of equipment.
+ Perform regular inspections and light repairs on production equipment, assist in machine repairs, and perform daily housekeeping in work areas.
+ Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status, as well as email end of shift reports daily.
+ Perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe.
+ Interpret blueprints and part drawing to perform maintenance task.
+ Must have basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Controls experience a plus.
+ Minimum 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience preferred
+ Industrial maintenance certifications in various maintenance fields or equivalent demonstrated skills
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting, installation, and schematic interpretation
+ Knowledge of electrical codes, strong PLC troubleshooting & basic programming
+ Must have a good attendance record, be a self-starter, and positive attitude in a team-oriented work assignment and/or project
+ Perform all functions within established & accepted Safety rules and guidelines
+ Work mandatory overtime and/or weekend schedules as needed
+ Must provide own hand-tools
+ Be capable of standing, walking, squatting, working at elevated heights and lifting up to 40 lbs. for entire shift
1st Shift (4, 10 hour shifts)
