Job Description


The Business Development Officer and CRA Liaison will act as the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) subject matter expert for the organization, serving customers and endorsed partners. This position will also assist in maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships . This position will also assist and support customers with CRA general questions and examination preparedness. The Business Development Officer and CRA Liaison will establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with customers, especially on CRA related issues. Duties & Responsibilities :

+ Maintain expert knowledge on CRA laws, rules, and regulations.

+ Monitor any developing trends and changes with CRA on a federal or state level.

+ Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to respond to customers’ CRA questions.

+ Design and provide CRA training to customers and endorsed partners.

+ Work with the sales team to achieve budgeted sales goal.

+ Identify prospect and customer’s key business goals, initiatives, and any areas of concern.

+ Identify opportunities, seek out and engage new bank partners.

+ Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with customers and endorsed partners.

+ Participate in the development of new and revised CRA related programs and services; and assist in the implementation and maintenance of the programs and services.

+ Engage with existing sales team and internal staff to bring in expertise and specialized resources as needed.

+ Manage relationships with bank decision makers.

+ Maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

+ Build effective working relationships with ICBA counterparts.

+ Model company core values every day.

Qualifications :

+ 3+ years of hands on CRA experience – either with a bank and/or a bank regulator.

+ Self-starter with strong written, oral, and analytical skills.

+ Able to work independently and willing to travel

+ Proficiency in Microsoft business software.

+ Ability to research and interpret data from a variety of sources.

+ Strong time management and organizational skills.
