Family Allergy & Asthma has an excellent opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner!
We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner to provide top notch care to our patients at our offices located in and around Memphis, TN.
Travel to these offices is based on an established recurring schedule.
Standard work days are Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with a later clinic schedule up to 6pm on Wednesday.
The majority of days would be at our Memphis office with specific days providing care at our Lakeland/Arlington location and potential for some days at our office in Jackson, TN.
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing patient health issues related to allergies, asthma, and immunology.
Nurse Practitioners with Family Allergy, can expect to:
+ Work independently and collaboratively with physician and nursing staff
+ Perform medical history and physical exams for new and established patients
+ Prescribe appropriate medications, and order diagnostic/laboratory tests in accordance with patient’s needs
+ Develop care plans and implement treatment plans based on clinical decisions
+ Provide excellent, efficient, and patient-focused service in a fast paced practice
+ Work well with ancillary staff and management to support core values of the practice
Education, Prior Work Experience, Special Skill And Knowledge Requirements:
+ Current TN APRN license is required
+ Strong computer/EMR skills are essential
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ A minimum of 1 year of primary care experience
+ Day travel required, no weekends or late evenings
