Duties: Aligns and influences stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with global executive leadership to obtain buy-in for strategic direction; anticipating and removing obstacles inhibiting change; and defining and managing the delivery of communications to Walmart leadership and external senior leadership. Manages global project activities for department by creating project plans to support program objectives; recommending resource allocation changes to senior project managers; directing strategic design sessions with cross functional teams to define processes; managing adherence to defined processes; planning, tracking, and driving project level milestone completion; managing execution of change control processes; reviewing and approving change control requests; identifying and mitigating project level risks; and evaluating performance of project activities to support the business cases. Develops business processes to support strategic direction to all levels of Walmart by facilitating subject matter expert meetings to gain business insight; designing and configuring systems to support future business processes; and facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams to support integration touchpoints. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in project management, supply chain, information technology, merchandising, replenishment, or related experience OR 4 years of experience in project management, supply chain, information technology, merchandising, replenishment, or related experience.
Skills Required: Must have experience with: BCIC (Business Continuity in Cloud) tool for managing Disaster Recovery documentation; conducting IT Disaster Recovery tests and implementing best practices; managing projects and tracking timelines using MS Project; coordinating IT Disaster Recovery related changes through Change Management software such as Service Now; Database technologies SQL/Oracle/DB2; Cloud technology (Azure); validating technical disaster recovery procedures for intel architecture and VMWare; and IBM Mainframe, AIX and Storage.
