Department's Website:https://ualr.edu/chasse/Summary of Job Duties:The Graduate Assistant (GA) position in the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education will work either ten (10) or twenty (20) hours a week for one of the various units within the college. GA assignments may include emphasis in teaching, research, administration, or public service. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
Regular admission to a UA Little Rock Graduate Program of study and enrolled in nine (9) credit hours for full-time or six (6) credit hours for part-time;
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Notify the appropriate chair, graduate coordinator and/or supervisor when absent;
Work with diverse populations;
Coordinate long-term, multi-layered projects that require collaboration with others inside and outside of your office;
Organizational skills to organize different projects;
Be accessible to students or colleagues through email and scheduled appointments;
Prepare materials as needed as determined by chair, graduate coordinator, and/or supervisor;
Maintain records and meet deadlines as required by administration;
Respect confidentiality of all individuals; comport with FERPA requirements;
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
