Enterprise Shared Services Business Intelligence is a team with a mission to gather, visualize, and analyze member, provider, and associate data to drive experience and efficiency improvements for our stakeholders. Functions of the team include, data management, continuous improvement, data science and business intelligence.
The Financial Analytics Lead analyzes data to support and influence decisions on budget, technology investments and strategic planning. Candidates should be able to explore complex datasets and apply analytical methodologies to tell compelling stories through sound data visualization practices. The lead will exercise independent judgement and will advise leadership based on an accurate understanding and interpretation of trends observed in data, tailoring the presentation and recommendations to the audience function and level to meet their needs. Responsibilities will also include developing forms and tools to gather information to manage technology investments.
+ Ability to explain variances, trends, and develop financial models.
+ Effectively collaborate across program owners, business areas, and segments.
+ Advises senior leadership to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
+ Design and build reports, including data visualizations, using complex logic and multiple data sources.
+ Thoroughly test reports and obtain user validation.
+ At least 5 years of analytics experience
+ 2 years project leadership experience
+ Experience in Power BI
+ Advanced SQL skills
+ Create reports to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
+ Experience collecting & gathering information from stakeholders
+ Compile, model, interpret, and analyze data to identify and explain variances and trends
+ Master’s Degree
+ 2 or more years of finance experience
+ Power BI Certification
+ Experience in Power Apps or SharePoint
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
