Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Senior Technology Leadership to join our Enterprise Data and Services team which builds applications that deliver aggregated operational data used across the organization.

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with development engineering and testing teams to drive products from design completion to production release. Advances new ways of working (agile transformation) by following SAFE Agile practices, partners with business owners, product owners, enterprise leads and cross functional full stack value stream teams to produce high customer value and satisfaction at high speed. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in related field

+ 4 or more years of project leadership experience including budget allocations

+ Experience working with software engineers in the development of applications and Humana’s software development processes

+ Ability to build strong partnership and has proven track record of collaboration across business and functional stakeholders.

+ Responsive and ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel

+ Must have orientation and organization skills. Excellent follow-up skills, and sense of urgency with the ability to respond under pressure.

+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ PMP Certified

+ Six Sigma Certified

+ MBA or other Advanced Degree

+ Demonstrated ability running large scale projects

+ Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements

+ WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

+ A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25×10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

+ Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

+ A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
