Duties: Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for moderately complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related experience OR 4 years of experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related experience.
Skills Required: Must have experience with: defining and supporting implementation of technical specifications to capture web analytics data for A/B testing new feature launches; leveraging SQL/HIVE/SPARK to query analytics data in Hadoop systems, providing data driven insights for product improvement; creating and managing UNIX scripts to audit data and set-up alerts for data issues including anomalies detection; leading new product development and deployment of enterprise and consumer products; building and validating usage metrics in Adobe Omniture, providing real time insights into the performance of product and marketing initiatives; leading product and usability research for web and mobile applications using HotJar and InVision; leading the development and deployment of data products using Segment and Big Query; leading product strategy and innovation lifecycle- managing ideation, prototyping, and validation of new products using MIRO; leading quality testing for web and mobile applications using Selenium; Product experimentation, analytics and reporting using Segment and Big Query; and building and validating usage metrics in Google Analytics, providing real time insights into the performance of product and marketing initiatives.
