Department's Website:https://fulbright.uark.edu/student-success/Summary of Job Duties:The Office of Student Success in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences (ARSC) at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor to start July 2022.

This 12-month, full-time non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor position is responsible for teaching courses and guiding ARSC students in pursuit of their general education requirements and how these requirements fit into their majors and future education and/or employment. One of the overarching goals of this position is to support students in their creation of a Professional ePortfolio to demonstrate mastery of the general education learning outcomes. Special attention will be given to ARSC students in their second year.

This position will provide support and mentorship to small groups of ARSC students as needed. Curriculum development/redevelopment will be necessary periodically to meet the needs of the ARSC students. Collaboration with other university faculty, staff and stakeholders is paramount. The percentage of time/effort of each of the separate job responsibilities changes each semester to meet the needs of the students but will generally be 50-75% teaching and 25-50% administrative.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:
