Job Description

The Business Analyst II is responsible for day-to-day coordination and development of assigned administrative and financial information system applications. The Business Analyst II will participate and/or lead in the design, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of new and legacy systems. The Business Analyst II will be responsible for training, requirements gathering, setup/configuration, evaluation, and maintenance of systems. Through ongoing educational and informal relationships, you will stay current in administrative and financial practice and will incorporate this knowledge into future system planning and deployment.

+ Experience in IT Service Management design, transition, or operations processes

+ Customer Relationship Management experience

+ Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

+ Experience in business analysis and configuration or administration of modules on the ServiceNow Platform

+ Ability to develop functional knowledge of application database management systems (Access, SQL, AS/400, etc.).

+ Demonstrates functional knowledge of database query tools (AS/400 Query, COGNOS Impromptu, Crystal Reports, etc.).

+ Ability to develop functional knowledge in the integration and use of standard programming languages, and/or vendor supplied tools to create user defined data elements, customized screens and rules.

+ Ability to build consensus and de-escalate customer and/or staff concerns.

+ Ability to lead groups and conduct meetings.

+ Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within the organization.

+ Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines for a specific project or focused area of responsibility.

+ Bachelor’s Degree is required.

+ Management Information Systems or Administrative/Financial Specialty is preferred.

+ Five (5) years of experience supporting administrative and financial applications as part of a large ERP system (Workday, Lawson, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.) required.
