The ServiceNow Product Owner will be a key member of the ServiceNow Team, supporting the ServiceNow platform and focusing specifically on the ITOM product. You will be responsible for maturing an existing CMDB. You will develop a strong understanding between the business needs of the stakeholders and how the ITOM applications will support those needs. You will be responsible for creating high level roadmap and low level requirements from those needs.
This Product Owner role will partner with development resources to develop a solution and complete testing on development work. You will also provide support to end users by training users on new functionality and presenting updates to end users.
Experience with the following ServiceNow areas is helpful: Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, Event Management.
+ Own the ITOM product roadmap, priorities and execution. Develop a roadmap to mature the CMDB, particularly leveraging Service Mapping.
+ Partner with the technology, process and business stakeholders to define, analyze, and document requirements for ServiceNow tool improvements focused on the improvement of the Black and Veatch CMDB and supporting technologies.
+ Work directly with the ServiceNow development team to select the most effective solution for defined requirements
+ Deliver incredible tools and experiences by combining your knowledge of configuration management processes and the ServiceNow platform
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ 8-10 years experience.
+ All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
+ ServiceNow Fundamentals certification
+ Service Mapping Practitioner certification
+ CMDB Practitioner certification
+ Discovery Practitioner
+ Experience as a Configuration Management process owner
+ Experienced with the application functions available in the ITOM Pro package
+ Experience in EPC industry
+ Two years working in a scrum driven development environment.
+ Three years working with ServiceNow
+ Three years working with ITOM applications (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, etc.)
+ Two years eliciting and capturing requirements
+ Two years creating roadmaps
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
