This role is responsible for proactively (a) managing the employment and labor risk for SitusAMC (b) ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory policies, guidelines, and laws © driving consistency in the application of HR policies globally (d) highly sensitive employee relations, employee hotline, and escalated candidate employment decisions (e) SPOC for all audit, AAP, and external 3rd party review requirements (d) tracking emerging/new legislative requirements, This role will report to the Global Head of HR, will have a dotted line to the General Counsel and Global Director of Compliance, and will work in collaboration with the Client Audits team.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for external and internal audit and 3rd party requests (in collaboration with and as directed by the client audits department)
+ Develop, Refine and Drive consistent HR P&Ps
+ Drive the design and content for the employee handbook and related materials
+ Disposition any escalated candidate background issues in consultation with legal
+ Serve as the federal, state and regulatory employment expert in consultation with legal and compliance
+ Handle any employee hotline or sensitive ER issues, as directed by the Global Head of HR, Global Head of Compliance and CAO
+ Serve as the SPOC for affirmative action planning
+ Oversee other HR and Risk Compliance initiatives, as necessary
+ Other related duties as may be assigned by Managing Director
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, Master’s or law degree highly preferred
+ Eight to ten years of human resource management experience required, with specific roles that require expert knowledge of HR Risk and Compliance matters
+ Banking and/or Financial Services HR experience is a plus, with a strong knowledge of employment law and change management
+ Experience leading and implementing Human Resource programs
+ Ability to effectively manage staff globally
+ Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
+ Communicate effectively and tactfully with management and other levels within the organization
+ Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and personnel
+ The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment
+ Office environment with frequent computer, mouse, keyboard use
+ Alternating between sitting or standing as needed
+ Hearing, talking, reaching, grasping
This position is available in all US Remote locations as detailed in SitusAMC’s Telecommuting policy.
This position is not available in the following states: AK, CO, CT, HI, MA, WY
