Job Description

The Project Manager position is a 1-2 year contract position working with a specialty chemical client in the El Dorado, AR. area.  

Responsible for the administrative and technical management as necessary over more than one major function, section, or department on projects in engineering and/or construction ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Assumes overall responsibility for budgeted man hours and staffing. Applies broad plans of operation and periodically review project schedules. A Project Manager will recommend personnel transactions of all natures and establishes work group standards, policies, and procedures.  Provides consultation and expert advice to management.

• Lead the planning and implementation of project
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full scale project plans
• Assemble and coordinate project staff
• Manage project budget

• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team
