The Identity and Access Management Architect will work as a member of the Identity Team and in support of the Identity access IAM program and its commitment to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of St. Jude information assets. The IAM Architect will lead the overall architecture design, implementation, and integration of identity governance, privileged access management, authentication, identity collision detection, and collaborator identity management technologies to meet the security needs of the organization and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. The IAM Architect will work closely with the IAM Manager to ensure that policies, procedures, and practices improve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of St. Jude information assets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the research, development, design, implementation, integration of information security systems.
+ Delivering effective, reusable, reliable, and maintainable Identity and Access Management capabilities Identity Governance Administration (Saviynt); Identity Collision Resolution (IDProxy); Collaborator Identity Management (NE Profile/NE Access); Privileged Access Management (Secret Server); Authentication standards and scheme; Data architecture, data mapping and database management.
+ Oversees and influences technical and strategic direction of the Identity and Access Management program.
+ Drives the adoption of secure identity and access manage solution, collaborating with application analysts, business and IT owners, to improve compliance and reduce risk to St. Jude information assets.
+ Develops identity and access management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent, repeatable, effective, and auditable delivery of IAM services.
+ Design models of data processing that implement the requirements gathered from Business owners.
+ Develop diagrams representing key data entities and their relationships.
+ Develop and report IAM metrics for the institution, departments, and applications ensuring visibility is maintained and continuous improvement of IAM processes is encouraged.
+ Develops processes and standards to improve the security of protected information and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including the HIPAA Security Rule and the Tennessee Security Breach Notification Law and other regulatory requirements, such as the PCI Data Security Standard.
+ Subject matter expertise across all IAM topics as it relates to both cloud and on-premises enterprise technology and the relationship between the architecture.
+ Contributes to the development and maintenance of an IAM strategy with a roadmap of key deliverables and timelines.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems is required
+ Master’s Degree is preferred
+ Six (6) years’ progressive experience in information security is required
+ Must have experience in/or demonstrated proficiency in implementing and integrating enterprise level information security systems and processes, meeting information security compliance requirements, managing large IT projects, and advanced knowledge of cybersecurity threats.
+ Knowledgeable of ISO17799, ISO27001, and other information security standards
+ Experience with Active Directory/LDAP/SAML/OAuth/PowerShell
+ Experience with Azure AD and Azure Subscriptions governance.
+ Experience integrating large enterprise solutions with an Identity Governance Administration solution.
+ Experience with zero-trust as related to IAM and PAM. Saviynt experience preferred.
+ Experience with architecting an Identity Governance Administration solution (IGA) or Privileged Access/Account Management solution (PAM). Thycotic experience preferred.
One or more of the following certifications is required:
+ (LC: CISSP) CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
+ (LC: CISA) CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor
+ (LC: CISM) CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
+ (LC: CRISC) CRISC – Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is preferred
