Currently, we are looking for a Coaching and Compliance Analyst to join the ArcBest team. The Coaching and Compliance Analyst is responsible for building relationships and assisting leadership with various tasks, including coaching and development opportunities with employees, as well as assisting HR leadership with various compliance related projects. This position involves a high degree of responsibility and will assist with compliance reporting, interpretation of policies and regulations to advise leadership of appropriate courses of action, managing the unemployment and termination process.

Your contribution may include:

  • Develop and grow relationships with various Company leaders to determine business needs.
  • Determine solutions and implement processes for Human Resources to better serve employees and leadership.
  • Provide Company responses to unemployment processes: gather and provide responses to unemployment claims, respond to state determinations, and prepare employees or outside representatives with defense statements for unemployment claims hearings.
  • Manage the termination process.
  • Engage in employee coaching and discussions with employees and assist leadership in preparing for coaching sessions.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance and action items to leadership based upon analysis of business needs and workplace situations to ensure appropriate responses to employee related issues.
  • Serve as the HR authority for Company leadership on coaching and assist with development and implementation of coaching and performance improvement plans.
  • Customize and develop coaching materials, training and other documents and resources to meet Company and leadership objectives.
  • Develop and present various Human Resources and compliance training.
  • Interpret local, state, and federal regulations and develop and implement solutions to ensure compliance, if applicable.
  • Review and revise Company policies and procedures periodically to ensure continued compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with investigations pertaining to employee-related issues and ensure consistent application of applicable Company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As a Coaching and Compliance Analyst, you will be a member of the ArcBest Human Resources team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on workload.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience: Previous experience in developing and delivering instructions, preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
