Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas seeks applications from candidates for a non-tenure track open rank Professor position to teach courses in Product Design, Innovation & Management.
The position will be affiliated with a new program at the University of Arkansas. The Master of Science in Product Innovation (MS-PI) will consist of an intensive 12-month program focused on product innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on the idea-to-launch phases of the process. Programs will be delivered on UA's Fayetteville and Bentonville campuses and/or online, and the position will be expected to teach in both. While the MS-PI will be open to students with broad interests, it will focus on products related to the outdoor, biomedical and software industries. Diversity, equity and inclusion will be strategically central to all programs.
The position will be housed in the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Venture Innovation (SEVI) Department, and will collaborate closely with the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (OEI). SEVI launched in January 2020 with a small but growing faculty that prizes scholarly activity in all of its forms.
