Job Summary:

The Network Administrator supports the health and operation of the network (hardware and software), computers, printers and devices attached to this network. They manage all file servers used to support and operate Bryce Applications as well as third party applications. They are responsible for maintenance of all standards and compliancy. They will perform related tasks as they relate to the network systems at Bryce and assume responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and reliability of this network The Network Administrator II will meet all the requirements of the Network Administrator I as well as the following: Key Accountabilities:

+ Serves as a senior level network engineer that provides expert-level network designs for projects and consultations

+ Expand, deploy, refresh and remove all supported data network technologies and services in low touch and outage free manner

+ Keep aware of new server and application technologies and developments in the industry and provide recommendations as necessary when these new tools apply

+ Implement and maintain change management systems for all servers, applications and systems

Education and Experience: Educational requirements, years of work experience

+ Business Information Systems or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ At least 3 years of experience in a Network Administrator’s role on a Microsoft Windows Network

+ Cisco CCNP Network Professional, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification or equivalent experience required

+ Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, and positive attitude

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

+ Experienced in Information Technology (IT) support in a manufacturing environment

+ Hardware platforms: Cisco, other

+ WAN providers: AT&T, CenturyLink/Lumen, Cable Providers, others

Skills, Abilities, and Competencies: Organization skills, communication skills, leadership capabilities, software application usage, etc.

+ Ability to support plant floor activities, including follow-up, and assisting the plant employees in resolving manufacturing problems with Information Technology (IT) solutions and applications

+ Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and cooperative relationships in the face of problems

+ Demonstrated ability to prevent and solve simple problems, seeking help from others when required

+ Ability to uses appropriate methods of communications (face-to-face, email, phone, etc.) to achieve desired results

+ Ability to manage multiple issues at one time, handling appropriate priorities

+ Ability to effectively interact with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills

+ Resourceful and well organized.

+ Ability to establish credibility, be decisive, and support organization’s preferences and priorities.

+ Results-oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations

+ Ability to work any shift as well as over-time as needed
