Job Description
Purpose
To provide oversight of financial analysis, reporting and forecasting, as prepared by the FP&A Department. Key Responsibilities+ Provide financial information (statements, reports, presentations, etc.)
+ In support of the Company’s strategic initiatives and objectives
+ In format suitable for presentation to internal and external users and stakeholders
+ In an accurate and timely manner
+ Recognizes areas of opportunity and leads implementation of new processes associated with those opportunities
+ Provides oversight, guidance and review of analyst I,II, and III profitability analysis
+ Influence decision making through regular involvement, communication, collaboration and interaction with cross-functional departments (Sales, Finance, Operations and Production, Accounting, etc.)
+ Responsible for frequent maintenance of all costing assumptions associated with producing goods sold by the Company in order to provide accurate and optimal data in pricing analyses
+ Assists with external reporting requirements
+ Collects and analyzes projections, and publishes reports
+ Projects accounting and financial data to show the effects of proposed plans on capital investments, income position and overall financial condition.
+ Prepares presentations related to profitability and performance results
+ Leads projects as requested by Director of FP&A including, but not limited to, planning processes, rolling forecasts, Gap Analysis, etc.
+ Performs other related duties, as required
Education and Experience+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
+ Master’s degree preferred but not required
+ 5-7 Years of experience in related field
+ Public accounting experience preferred
+ Experience working with executive leadership and/or senior management
Skills, Abilities and Competencies+ Strong computer skills, including superior proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel)
+ Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
+ Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
+ Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
+ Ability to self-start and make sound decisions responsibly and independently
+ Skilled problem solver, self-starter, organized and inquisitive
+ Effective in completion of multi-faceted projects in conjunction with daily activities
