Job Description
Purpose: Assists in the analysis of products, processes, and markets in terms of performance and suitability.
+ Analyzes performance and generates exception reports highlighting profitability and performance issues.
+ Analyzes cost and pricing of bids. Estimates cost of producing items. Estimates margins, profit contributions, and Prime Cost (PC) and Prime Hour based on various prices.
+ Assists with market research determining potential volumes and prices.
+ Assists in development of Marketing Plan (includes analysis of “fit” on existing and/or newequipment based on Company goals).
+ Approves trials for consistency with pricing.
+ Approves “SAP Data Entry” of new items.
+ Develops presentations for existing or potential customers, quarterly reviews, etc.
+ Compiles responses to customer requests for supplier profile information (“supplier questionnaires”) and maintains data base of questions and answers.
+ Collects and analyzes sales projections, converts projections into machine demands, and publishes reports.
+ Analyzes results to identify more efficient production methods, processes, product “mix”, etc.
+ Issues and maintains product catalog.
+ Reviews and analyzes records, reports, and directives and confers with other managers to obtain data required for planning activities.
+ Performs other related work as required.
Education and Experience+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math/Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ One to two years of working experience, preferably in a corporate environment
+ Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office programs
