Perform supply chain budgeting, planning, and analysis activities to directly support sales team. This role receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals, and the processes by which to meet goals. This role is responsible for collaborating with our customers to improve margins, drive revenue and manage inventory through application of end-to- end supply chain tools & tactics. Be the subject matter expert in helping to improve customer satisfaction, best practices, and financial commitments. Lead root cause analysis including problem definition, investigation, and developing correction and prevention processes. Research business processes, and serve as the liaison between supply chain functions, sales, and our customers. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other functions. Develop metrics, measures, and analyze results.

You are responsible for

+ The successful collaboration with customers and functional experts to prioritize and deliver value added solutions that meet or exceed our growth objectives.

+ Studying, interpreting and developing thorough understandings of problems and opportunities

+ Presenting findings that drive understanding, alignment and informed decision making

+ Engineering tactical and strategic solutions that withstand the variability inherent to the business

+ Driving continuous improvement with company and customer using LEAN principles through the Joint Business Planning process of Assess, Build, Commit & Execute

+ Acting as a collaborative interface with customer’s Replenishment, Merchandising, and Sales

+ Compiling performance data and publishing periodic scorecards and reports

+ Utilizing in-depth knowledge of business practices and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to influence functional strategy

+ Utilizing high-level analytical ability and creativity to analyze complex/new situations

+ Anticipating potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts, and risks while developing and implementing plans and solution deliverables to customer problems.

You are part of

Consists of members of the Walmart Sales team and directly reports to the Richard Apolskis.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

+ The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate’s degree program in business, or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Minimum Qualifications:1 to 3 years with Supply Chain (order management, production planning, inventory analysis/management, outbound logistics, etc.) or equivalent school study

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel skills: database formulas, pivot tables, and charts

+ Ability to interface with internal customers in a professional and ethical manner

+ Strong written and verbal communications skills

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

+ Ability to identify root cause of issues and address issues in a timely and efficient manner.

+ Preferred to have hands-on responsibility with outside customers within the last 12 months

+ Strong understanding of Retail Link and GRS

+ Experience in assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support supply/demand planning and operations
