Job Description
We are currently seeking a Payroll/Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Essential Functions:
+ Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
+ Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for management and corporate headquarters.
+ Act as the Payroll liaison between, field personnel, the administrative team, and our corporate headquarters.
+ Stays current on payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits and other related and to ensure effective accounting support.
+ Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures.
+ Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
+ Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
+ Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
+ Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
+ Assists with Contract Administration (getting/retrieving information, data entry, invoicing, analyzing, creating and comparing reports).
+ Assists with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
+ Assists with Subcontractors.
+ Filing, scanning and taking messages.
+ All other duties as assigned by management.
+ The access to compensation information is necessary to perform the function or another routinely assigned business task.
+ Attendance requirements are M-F, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 40 hour week, occassional weekend and holiday to meet payroll requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Must have excellent Adobe, Microsoft office, and Outlook skills.
+ Able to understand and create complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
+ Has working knowledge of accounting basics.
+ Must possess good planning, analysis, and organizing skills.
+ Manages time effectively, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
+ Commitment to teamwork through relationship building, reliability and collaboration.
+ Capable of performing repetitive tasks.
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screening and MVR.
+ Must be able to write, read and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information.
+ Able to multi-task and produce in a high paced team oriented environment.
+ Organized, detail oriented and follows through
+ Able to pay close attention to details and identify/correct mistakes.
