Redneck Trailer Supplies is the nation’s leading distributor of trailer parts and supplies and we are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager. We have been in business since 1979 and now have 20 branches in 17 states. The purpose of the Assistant Branch Manager position is to direct and coordinate the inventory control and warehouse functions for the branch. This person will give work direction, resolve problems, prepare schedules, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Must be able to coordinate activities of the warehouse, truck driving, and inventory control staff with related activities of other branch departments to ensure efficient and economical accomplishments of company mission and goals. Duties include, but are not limited to,

+ work with the Branch Manager to determine staffing requirements, interviewing, reference checks, making hiring decisions, and conducting orientation

+ supervise the work performance of all warehouse, inventory control, and truck driving staff

+ verify all deliveries to be transported on, or in, Redneck Trailer Supplies vehicles have been packed, wrapped, and secured according to federal and company standards

+ foster a work environment characterized by mutual respect and effectively handle any disagreements or conflicts that may arise

+ approve all reviews and new hires under the one level up program

+ review time and attendance records for accuracy; enter vacations, excused absences, and approve time cards prior to payroll processing

+ oversee warehouse functions, assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with decisions pertaining to the operation of the warehouse, and reviewing documentation prepared by personnel

+ perform the processing of all warranty merchandise, determining the disposition of the merchandise and overseeing the preparation of all warranty paperwork

+ monitor all branch truck driver documentation to ensure annual driver review and re-certification are done on a timely basis

+ review price and availability requests and make decisions regarding feasibility of requests

+ assist Branch Manager in ensuring branch has adequate security to protect assets

+ assist Branch Manager with oversight and maintenance of branch showroom

+ complete all other assignments/projects as assigned by management in a timely manner

Minimum Education Required*: Associate’s Degree Minimum Experience Required *: Four years of prior supervisory or management experience *Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
