The Leonardo DRS Land Systems business is a recognized leader in the design and integration of complex technologies into new and legacy systems and platforms for global military and commercial customers.
+ Supervise the company’s inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products.
+ Ensure the receipt and storage of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies.
+ Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects.
+ Arrange for the return and replacement of defective items.
+ Manage periodic and special inventories; accounts for inventory variances.
+ Assist with improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
+ Coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses.
+ Ability to supervise a group independently.
+ Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required.
+ May participate in preparation of proposals.
+ Provide assistance to lesser-experienced employees by communicating work priorities, providing assistance, and verifying accuracy of work.
+ Mentor direct staff.
+ Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.
+ May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc
