Position Summary

The Time and Attendance Specialist is responsible for supporting payroll and time management processing, process optimization, and governance of Labor policies. The incumbent resolves Time and Labor exceptions, maintains data integrity, provides guidance for leave policies, and accurate submissions of time and attendance pay data files. The role is involved in improving the Time and Attendance operations and contributing to the overall teammate experience from the Payroll Department. This role is responsible for helping to drive continuous improvement across the HR function.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This position will support time management processing for our global population; other duties may be assigned.

+ Maintains data quality of Time & Attendance systems, by performing regular data audits and resolving any data integrity issues in partnership with the Sr. Specialist, Payroll Systems and Process

+ Manage teammate escalations regarding time entries; work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure a high-quality teammate experience

+ Provide analysis and support in resolving complex time issues including proactive audits to reduce the risk of payroll issues/errors.

+ Assist in development, preparation, and delivery of value-added reports and metrics (KPI’s) on Time and Attendance activities to support business strategy and initiatives.

+ Acts as a first point of contact for user guidance and advice.

+ Provides user support through developing and facilitating training; create supporting materials to enable self-service

+ Partners with the Sr. Specialist, Payroll Systems and Process to respond to inquiries and issues related to systems and support root cause analysis; works with appropriate stakeholders to implement resolution.

+ Establish and maintain strong partnership and communication with HR Generalist, HR Admin, and Payroll Leads.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

+ Strong creative, analytical and problem-solving skills required; take a practical approach to solving issues

+ Be able to analyze complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions

+ Excellent customer service focus and experience

+ Communicates well both verbally and in writing with team members of all levels across the organization

+ Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with people of across our global population

+ Ability to handle multiple projects and work in multiple systems simultaneously

+ Ability to respond with flexibility as organizational requirements and systems change

+ Understanding of HR business processes and data; knowledge of payroll concepts and processes

Education And / Or Experience

+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Payroll or Time & Attendance with Multi-State and Multi-National population

+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, preferred

Other Requirements

+ Location: This position is fully remote

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

+ Significant experience in Excel, including advanced features (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
