Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in QRM activities. Requires the ability to produce high quality screening, diagnostic, augmented mammographic exams and invasive mammographic procedures.
Required Education: High school graduate; Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
Licensure: ARRT (R) (M) and Arkansas license
Certifications: Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiation. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BCLS certification. Completed 40 hours of a documented mammography training program MQSA equivalent, including performance of a minimum of 25 examinations under direct supervision.
Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.
Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred.
