Job Description

Duties: Aligns and influences stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with global executive leadership to obtain buy-in for strategic direction; anticipating and removing obstacles inhibiting change; and defining and managing the delivery of communications to Walmart leadership and external senior leadership. Manages global project activities for department by creating project plans to support program objectives; recommending resource allocation changes to senior project managers; directing strategic design sessions with cross functional teams to define processes; managing adherence to defined processes; planning, tracking, and driving project level milestone completion; managing execution of change control processes; reviewing and approving change control requests; identifying and mitigating project level risks; and evaluating performance of project activities to support the business cases. Develops business processes to support strategic direction to all levels of Walmart by facilitating subject matter expert meetings to gain business insight; designing and configuring systems to support future business processes; and facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams to support integration touchpoints. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.


Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in project management, information technology, or related experience; OR 4 years of experience in project management, information technology, or related experience.


Skills Required: Must have experience with: SQL development including T-SQL, complex query, stored procedure, trigger and function; Building Data Pipeline using object-oriented programming language python; Developing ETL packages to automate the data processing using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services); Relational database Mysql query, backups, tuning, performance and query optimization; Developing interactive data visualization report using Microsoft Power BI; GitHub version control and maintaining the code repository; Developing PowerShell script to monitor the server health, data and automation process; Data extraction using REST API web services; Creating the summary, drill down and linked report using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services); CMD (Command prompt) including comparing files, Network statistic and scheduling task; Developing PL/SQL query to analyze data from oracle database server for capacity planning; Bash script to troubleshoot the connectivity and status related issue; Kanban to visualize and improve the workflow; Developing ERD, workflow diagram and data processing flow chart using Lucidchart; Creating the database schema and executing in the database system using Toad; Swagger UI to interact with REST API; and Sending and receiving HTTP/s request in Postman for API.
