An IT Systems Analyst develops, implements, and maintains computer applications and systems to meet the needs of Cooperative business functions. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and continuing to strive to push AECC and our mission forward.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

 

Consults with employees from various Cooperative business units to identify the computing needs of their associated business functions and develop requirements for systems to support those needs.

Analyzes stated requirements and determines optimal solution(s) to meet those requirements.

Designs, develops, tests, and supports computer applications and systems, as necessary, to implement the identified requirements. Ensures the reliable operations and maintenance of critical systems.

Conducts and assists with the testing and validation of new software to ensure that software changes are reasonably defect-free.

Develops instructions and manuals to guide end users following established documentation standards. Provides training, instructions, and any other necessary support to users of computer applications/systems.

Develops documentation describing the technical aspects of applications and systems, as well as run notes, change control logs and procedural flow charts. Checks existing documentation for correctness and completeness.

Designs, develops, and documents business continuity and disaster recovery procedures to support the availability of critical operating environments.

Provides support to end users on managed applications. Coordinates with other Information Technology staff to maintain the desktop and server operating environment(s) required to support these applications.

Troubleshoots applications and systems, as required, to identify and correct problems and errors in operation. Uses information gathered to improve and enhance reliability of applications and systems.

Maintains compliant work processes according to applicable regulatory standards and Cooperative policies and programs.

The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

 

 

Must be able to obtain NERC CIP clearance access

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS or related field, or other equivalent combination of education and experience.

Web application development experience

Minimum Work Experience

Systems Analyst II

At least two years related application development experience.

Systems Analyst III

At least five years related application development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Java Script, HTML, SQL

IBMi RPG programming experience

PHP programming experience
