What our Quality Assurance Engineer will do:

This position works closely with all teams writing and executing automation/manual testing on all our mobile products. They monitor every phase of development and will review the results with the product team to verify we are delivering a quality product/code. 

The position will start with manual testing on the current sprint in line with the development of the current product. After a time of ramp up we will start to introduce automation work on the current project. The goal being to implement automation in the current product by the release date. 

This position requires a large amount of self-navigated learning and implementation of learning. 

  • Responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Helps with design and writing of new regression manual and automation tests 
  • Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates all testing activities 
  • Perform thorough end to end regression testing when bugs are resolved, or features are added in both iOS and Android platforms. 
  • Identify, document, and track bugs • Assists in managing the creation and upkeep of documentation to ensure that all practices and processes can be followed by non-primary qualified personnel
  • Conduct other assignments which assist in carrying out the mission of team 
  • Ensure that clear communication occurs in a timely manner to direct manager when commitments are at risk or personnel issues exist

Future roadmap for role responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for new and existing products 

Characteristics of a successful candidate: 

  • Set clear milestones and holds people (and self) accountable to goals 
  • BS/BS or 2+ years of experience in QA field, direct experience with fintech is a plus 
  • Passionate and a self-starter who drives high impact projects forward with minimal guidance • Intellectually curious 
  • Effective communications and ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional projects between several different teams 
  • Resourceful and diligent in research, with an ability to identify what needs to be done and how to make it happen. 
  • Detail oriented and meticulous 
  • Provides timely and meaningful feedback
